Hard to Fathom

It is hard to fathom in this country, our state, or even our county that we have children as young as 12 years old entering the life of sex trafficking. I know…I could not believe it either. When I discovered this horrific problem that was stealing our own youth, in our own cities, I just could not believe it.

Shortly thereafter God placed it on my heart to help these young victims. When delving into the issues it was apparent that some of the biggest need was housing. We could rescue these victims but had little to no availability to provide homes that could cater to their individual needs. That is when God placed it on my heart to open Gigi’s house. A home that would cater specifically to girls aged 13 to 19 who are victims of sex trafficking.

We offer the girls a safe home, individual and group trauma-informed therapy with a licensed therapist, home-schooling, life skills, and daily self-confidence building activities in a faith based environment. Our team is passionate about helping these girls develop practical and emotional life skills so that they can survive as healthy adults and build the futures they deserve.

There are many ways you can help too. We need prayer, volunteers, advocacy, and the necessary funds to provide all the needs for these young victims. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to me for additional information.

In addition to the existing home that currently serves ten girls at any one time, we have been gifted seven acres and plan to build enough homes to serve up to forty more girls.

I believe together we can make a difference in the lives of these young victims.
